An imam has allegedly begged Allah to ‘blow up the planes of the US and Russia’ in a shocking religious address at a mosque in Jerusalem .

The man reportedly asked Allah to destroy the weapons of the two countries – and kill all their soldiers.

In the clip, groups of Muslims appear to be gathered around the religious leader , all listening intently to his disturbing address.

At several points throughout the speech, the congregation appear to offer cheers to the priest as he yells for the destruction of the Western world.

According to MEMRI TV (Middle East Media Research Institute), the priest says: “Oh Allah, blow up their capital cities and their planes, pulverise their ships, and kill their soldiers .

“Oh Allah, we ask You to subjugate them and burn them.

“Just like they have subjugated us and burned our children.”

The priest has been identified by local media as Cleric Abdallah Ayed. It is believed that he works in the Al-Aqsa mosque – the third holiest site in Islam.

The mosque is located in the Old City of Jerusalem.
