The President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a cable of condolences to President Sergio Mattarella of the Italian Republic, expressing his sincere condolences and sympathies to victims of the Italy earthquake, which hit the Lazio region and resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries.

He also expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and the friendly people of Italy and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

The Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, dispatched similar cables to the Italian President.
