Egypt has agreed to provide conditional exemptions for Yemenis to enter the country, Yemen’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Major General Hussain Mohammed Arab said yesterday.
The new ruling only applies to men aged between 20 and 40 years old.
Egypt’s Minister of Interior Magdy Abdel Ghaffar has yet to announce the agreement. The two ministers met during Arab’s trip to Cairo last Saturday.
During the meeting, Abdel Ghaffar stressed that the Egyptian government supports all that leads to stability and unity in Yemen.
